Work by hand and growing grapes on steep slopes in harsh soils are the fundamental principles of our family. We continually strive to extract the essence of our individual vineyards to reveal the character of each unique wine.
Winemaking is more than just a career; it’s a way of life. Our friend, filmmaker Thomas Kirschner, accompanied us during a recent vintage and captured a year’s worth of beautiful moments.
Our wines tell the story of their vintage and where they came from. We strive to offer each of our unique wines the best environment for their aging process.
The rich landscape of the region is peppered with churches, monasteries, and ancient villages. In the Wachau, nature and culture interact in a confined space and the result is demonstrated in each of the steep-slope vineyards.
Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to set up a visit at our winery. We look forward to telling you more about our wines!
